Dr. Bonus Caesar is a Medical Doctor and a graduate of Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Dar es Salaam; Also a graduate of Leadership and Management Studies offered by the Fredriech Ebert Foundation (Dar es Salaam and New York). Following graduation, he worked at the Muhimbili National Hospital in the HIV clinic, and later managed his own clinics in Dar es salaam for years before dedicating his works in public health initiatives in number of regions in Tanzania, especially those targeting infectious diseases such as HIV, TB and Malaria. Dr Caesar has co-founded a number of entities, both private firms and civil society organizations working to improve public health initiatives in Tanzania.
He has participated in many medical research projects including MUHAS – _Harvard Collaborative Research Program funded by the CDC.
He has overseen a number of surveys, both as consultant and private volunteer across many landscapes including in regular communities as well as in mining communities.
Dr Caesar is passionate about community empowerment programs, public health programs as well as digital health initiatives especially for developing countries.
