Diseases Surveillance and Emergency Disease Response

During Public health surveillance programs, we carry out continuous, systematic collection, analysis and interpretation of health-related data.

Then, we conduct data analysis to establish underlying meaning, and see how much the disease surveillance data:

  • Serves as an early warning system for impending outbreaks that could become public health emergencies;
  • Enables monitoring and evaluation of the impact of an intervention, helps track progress towards specified goals; and
  • Monitors and clarifies the epidemiology of health problems, guiding priority-setting and planning and evaluation public health policy and strategies.

The above process and information help Persistent Strategies team to coordinate with our key stakeholders in taking appropriate actions towards disease control, emergency response and protection of public health and safety as per protocols in place.
